EPL Investing In The Social Enterprise sector
27/06/2009
EPL Director, Dr Guy Turnbull has been elected to head up UK's most established and successful CDFI, Co-operative & Community Finance
Guy has acted as a trustee for Co-operative & Community Finance (CCF) for the past 3 years. At CCF's most recent trustee meeting, held as part of the Co-operative Congress, Guy accepted nomination and election as CCF's chair. He takes over from Jon Mcoll, operations director of the award winning Hackney Community Transport.
Co-operative & Community Finance provides sympathetic loan finance to help people take control of their economic lives and create social benefit.
Formerly known as ICOF exclusively serve the co-operative and social enterprise sector, and over 36 years we have supported hundreds of businesses ranging from small community-run enterprises to large award-winning organisations.
CCF has made some significant investments in EPL and its strategic partners. EPL therefore welcome the continued close relationship with what is the UK's leading lender for social purpose
