  Leicester CityBus
  Co-ordination of joint management and employee buy-out of former municipal bus company involving 600 employees and £2.5 million financial package.
  Result: Management Buy-Out with Employee Share Ownership Plan.
  British Gas Industrial & Commercial Servicing
  Advice on legal/financial structuring of buy-out involving 150 employees nationally and 20 in northern region.
  Result: National Employee Buy-out and establishment of new regional company Gas Services Northern Limited.
  Newcastle Instrumental Music Teaching Service
  Co-ordination of externalisation of former local authority music teaching department.
  Result: Development of the North East Music Co-operative, now the largest of its kind in the country; subsequent advice to similar successful externalisations in Swindon, Grimsby, etc.
  North East Care
  Feasibility study, business planning and company design for a new co-operative care provider in Northumberland.
  Result:Establishment of North East Care Limited,a domiciliary care co-operative which now employs over 40 people.
  The Exchange
  Feasibility study for a new 3million arts centre, The Exchange, in Sunderland, and subsequent restructuring of the centre managing organisation, Arts Resource Limited.
  Results: Project in development; building conversion of The Exchange scheduled for completion in May 2000.
  Earth Balance
  Successful funding bids to the National Lottery, Community Care Development Programme, Horizon strand of the ESF Employment Programme, mainstream ESF and ERDF and several trusts and foundations; Project Management of the 600,000 transnational Horizon project developing social firms for people with disabilities.
  Result: Establishment and growth of one of the largest voluntary sector projects in the North of England.
